The aim of our training is to train competent and skilled welders for the labor market. The way we work is documented in our mission statement. You can download it here.

The SK Mönchengladbach GmbH trains welders according to DVS guideline 1111 in the following processes:

  • Oxy-Fuel weldings (gas welding) G (311)
  • Manual Metal Arc welding (stick welding) E (111)
  • Tungsten Inert Gas welding TIG (141)
  • Gas metal arc welding MAG / MIG and flux-cored wire (131/135/136)

These courses are each divided into levels of training. The training levels are modularly constructed.

The training is:

  • fillet weld to butt weld
  • plate to pipe

It is possible to start in a higher education level after manual skill test with the required skills, the previous steps can be skipped, depending on the level of knowledge.

After each desired level of education we offer a practical and theoretical DVS welders exam. The student will receive according to the appropriate level of training a European or international welders test certificate according to DIN EN 287-1 and DIN EN ISO 9606-2. An extension to the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, AD 2000 HP3 is possible.

The respective examination is held by an supervisor of DVS-PersZert. This personnel certification body of the DVS provides the education and training within the meaning of the DVS-examination regulations. A quality management system requires the Welding course facility for the compliance with the relevant rules and procedures, in particular with the standards and guidelines for welding courses of DVS.
